William "Bill" Hope ( ing. William Hope , născut la 2 martie 1955 , Montreal , Quebec , Canada ) este un actor canadian de teatru, film și televiziune, cel mai bine cunoscut pentru rolul său ca locotenent William Gorman în filmul științifico-fantastic Aliens (1986). ).
Biografie
William Hope s-a născut pe 2 martie 1955 la Montreal (Canada), a studiat la Teatrul Național pentru Tineret și la Academia Regală de Artă Dramatică (RADA) din Londra. După absolvire, a lucrat aproape continuu în teatru în următorii șapte ani. La mijlocul anilor 1980, a fost ales ca lider în filmul Full Metal Jacket al lui Stanley Kubrick , dar a refuzat-o în favoarea rolului locotenentului Gorman din Aliens (1986) al lui James Cameron .
William Hope este fratele mai mare al actorului Barclay Hope.
