MT Framework este un motor de joc  exclusivcreat pentru „toate jocurile Capcom de următoarea generație ” pe PlayStation 3 și Xbox 360 (și mai târziu pe Wii și Nintendo 3DS ), inclusiv Dead Rising , Lost Planet: Extreme Condition , Devil May Cry 4 și Resident Evil 6 . MT poate reprezenta „multi-tasking” ( multi-thread ), „meta-instrumental” ( meta tools ) și „multi-target” ( multi-target ), dar de fapt această abreviere înseamnă Megaman Trigger . La început trebuia să folosească un motor terță parte, dar niciunul nu a îndeplinit cerințele Capcom pentru performanță și flexibilitate. Keiji Inafune a menționat într-un interviu acordat 1UP că programatorul principal a dezvoltat MT Framework-ul special pentru Dead Rising , Lost Planet: Extreme Condition și Mega Man Legends 3 , pe care Inafune spera să le dezvolte pe parcursul mai multor ani [1] . MT Framework 2.0, care a fost introdus pentru prima dată în Lost Planet 2 , oferă imagini mai bune decât predecesorul său [2] .
